Séance

This was my first experience as a video game composer. It's a game made by senior students at Rubika in Valenciennes, France.

The game is a roguelike/card game. Along the different acts, the music as to evolve with the environment being corrupted by an entity, while also keeping a similar theme.

Each act has a normal version of the theme along with a "DeathDoor" version, when the player is close to death. The merchant theme plays over the main theme and had to be adapted for each act. The transition can start anywhere during the loop from the previous, and flow into the next seemlessly.

This is a game made by a freshman student at IIM Digital School (Paris, France) met at Global Game Jam 2024. The game is a personal project he's currently working on.

The game is a shop manager simulator, the music is a mix of house/chill, more or less catchy depending on the time of day to adapt to the number of NPCs. A more retro styled short loop was also created for the in-game shop.

Jedi Monkey Total War

This game was made during Game Jam 20 hosted by Game Dev Party with randomly generated themes for each team. This was my very first game jam and I really enjoyed the experience. I thought I would only take care of the music but I ended making all the sounds.

The game is an arcade survival game in which you play as a jedi monkey in an arena, attacked with blaster shots and lasers. The music is interactive, there are 3 versions with more and more instruments corresponding with a rising level of threat.

Swing

This game was made during BJV Game Jam 2023 hosted by Loisirs Numériques with sharing as its theme. The game unfortunately couldn't be finished on time, and most of the sounds couldn't be implemented.

The game is a mix of Tetris and Tricky Towers. Two, each controlled by a different player, have to balance a platform on which blocks land. The players can give each other blocks to balance out the platform if needed. The music gets faster to adapt to the accelerating gameplay.

Le Doigt

This is one of the two projects I worked on during Global Game Jam 2024, with "Make me laugh" as its theme. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to finish the project.

The game is based on the "pull my finger" joke. Inspired by games like WarioWare, The idea was to pull fingers faster and faster in different ways.

The game is about a computer virus trying to destroy your PC. The sound is made mostly from windows XP sounds, modified to sound corrupted. The boss theme uses the same sounds to communicate the idea of the virus attacking the computer.
